Although still unfinished, this mural looks better ad better every time I see it. The artist works on a 3D effect rendering. The windows and stairs look as if they are coming out of the building. Can’t wait to see the finished product. Look for it at the corner of Berri and Rue Cherrier, in the Plateau.

Just before placing the glass windows/walls at the CHUM hospital. The workers are measuring to cut the exact pieces. If you notice, they have only a rope type harness to protect them from falling. Impressive. You couldn’t pay me enough to get close to that ledge, at the heigh they are at (approx. 4th or 5th floor)

Plateau has great street art decorating its buildings. Back in April 2008, we published a picture from Rue Duluth and their numerous graffiti walls.
This picture is the latest find in street art in the area. I am sure there are others just waiting to be discovered.

If you are not in Montreal, then you missed waking up to a beautiful snow-covered city. Yesterday we had our first big snow fall. Well, not so big. But enough to make this park look like this…

It looked like the Montreal I remembered when I first arrived here. Snowy streets by November. Slippery sidewalks. Happy winter everyone!

I took a little walk in the neighbourhood with my camera the other day and I saw this almost empty side of the street, slightly covered with snow.It looked so peaceful. You can see the Molson logo at the top of the building in the center faded a bit by the fog. This is the exact location where the picture was taken.
